Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to maximize sales and profit of the categories and achieve sales budgets while remaining competitive in the marketplace. This role demands the candidate to be a go-getter who has a knack for problem-solving and growth hacking

Key Responsibilities:

1. Category Strategy: Develop a comprehensive category strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, leveraging your field experience to identify growth opportunities and market trends in the Indian industrial goods market.

2. Inventory Management: Utilize your knowledge of product demand and market dynamics to oversee inventory levels effectively, ensuring optimal stock availability to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock and wastage.

3. Pricing Strategy: Implement pricing strategies based on your understanding of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences, using data-driven insights to maximize sales and profitability.

4. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis, using your field experience to identify opportunities for growth and stay informed about emerging product trends and advancements.

5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytical tools and performance metrics, combined with your field experience, to make informed decisions, optimize category performance, and track progress towards goals.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and customer support, leveraging your vendor relationships to ensure alignment and successful execution of category initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field from premier institutes (preferred).

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in e-commerce, sales or procurement of industrial goods.

- Proficiency in data analysis, using insights to drive data-driven pricing decisions.

- Demonstrated experience in product curation, supplier management, and inventory optimization.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, honed through vendor interactions.
