Purpose of the role: This role of Industry Lead is responsible as an individual leader to ensure Media & Communication non-US region business strategy and growth by enabling Market analysis, research, creating new business opportunities with help of product and services customization, customer advocacy by establishing strong business relations with existing and new customers. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for: - Market Analysis: Perform market research and analysis to understand Media, Communication, Broadcasting industry trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging opportunities. - Customer Profiling: Develop deep understanding of the customers including their pain points, preferences, and buying behaviors. - Business Development: Identifying and pursue new business opportunities. Work with customers, Sales and Marketing team to expand the business Unit's customer base and network, forming partnerships, participating in RFP/RFQ and securing contracts. - Relationship Building: Building and nurturing professional relationships with key stakeholders in Media, Broadcasting, Communication industry leaders which includes customers, partners, industry associations, and regulatory bodies. - Product or Service Customization: Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to customize offerings to suit the specific requirements of the business line offerings. Develop industry-specific features or offerings. - Market Positioning: Positioning the products or services in Media & Communication business domain to gain a competitive advantage. Develop strategies to differentiate the company from competitors. - Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue targets and growth objectives, collaborate with sales team leadership. - Industry Advocacy: Represent the organization within industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Represent in Aerospace forums, may contribute to industry publications. - Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to industry-specific initiatives and report on progress to senior management. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with industry-specific regulations and standards and prepares the Engineering team. - Strategic Planning: Developing and executing a strategic plan for the industry segment is crucial. This plan should align with the organization's overall goals and objectives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the role: Over the next 12 months this role's success gets measured on: - New business Revenue - Overall Revenue Targets - Customer Satisfaction Score KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: In this role, you will be successful, if you have: Experience: - Bachelor or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Engineering with overall 20+ years of experience in technology domain/ Software industry. - Minimum 10+ years' experience in handling Delivery, Competency development in digital or cloud or analytics domain. Skills & Competencies: Must Have: - Technical Proficiency: Must have a deep understanding of the Media, Broadcasting, Communication technology stack.
