Industrial Product Manager Requirement - Bangalore

We have the following requirement with our client which is into leading Manufacturing industry based at Bangalore.

Position : Industrial Product Manager

Location : Bangalore, Karnataka.

Qualification & Experience :

- MBA from premier B School with a minimum of 6 years' experience in B2B sales/marketing roles of which at least 3-4 years is in sales

- The candidate should have worked as Branch Manager / Sales Manager in the sales Office and should have progressed to become Marketing or Product manager or Regional Manager etc.

Brief Summery :

- This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to achieve targeted sales of Industrial thread for Apparel, Embroidery and Home furnishing applications. Managing the profitability of the category through pricing and key customer deals.

- Managing new product introduction and product portfolio management. Work on pricing strategies to deliver profitable sales growth.

- Coordinating with global key account teams and global marketing teams to align and execute sales and marketing plans of products and services in India.

Job Purpose :

Industrial Product Manager :

- Develop an annual sales and marketing plan for apparel and embroidery threads

- Set targets for the branches to meet divisional plan and monitor/guide the branches to achieve the set targets

- Manage product pricing to meet targeted profit objectives and review and revise prices based on periodic cost movements

- Introduce new products and co-ordinate launches with quality, manufacturing, supply chain and finance.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers of large customers

- Generate monthly demand forecasts for apparel and embroidery threads, improve forecast accuracy and ensure stock norms and service lead times are met in co-ordination with Supply Chain

- Develop marketing collateral including data sheets, product brochures, size charts, shade cards, selling aids to grow sales

- Increase premium product sales by gaining market share and upgrading customers through marketing inputs and technical advisory services

- Coordinate with Global Marketing team to ensure global marketing plans are implemented and executed in India

- Global Account sales - Promote Coats products and services with local offices of global brands, major buying houses and large domestic brands

Directly reports to VP of Marketing

Knowledge, Skills and Key Behaviours Required :

- The candidate should have passed out from a premier B School - IIMs preferably in the year 2008 - 10.

- The candidate should have strong academics. Should be an Engineer and MBA from premier B School. Ideally, should be a graduate from IIT /NIT and IIMs.

- Should have had branch management exposure as part of overall experience. The candidate should have worked as Branch Manager / Sales Manager in the sales Office and should have progressed to become Marketing or Product manager or Regional Manager etc.

- Excellent presentation and writing skills

- The candidates with prior experience in leading FMCGs, FMCD's and other established manufacturing business with institutional customers are only preferred.
