Industrial Engineering Manager - Automobile

Position Title: Industrial Engineering Manager

Reports to: Plant Manager

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Location: Pune

Job Responsibilities:

- Under direction from the Managing Director sets the KPI's of the department.

- Responsible for processes in IE and Product trial & development, responsible for team of this department.

- Ensure production processes are adhering to company's Standards, including clear work instructions and process descriptions.

- Responsible for the transferring new development standards.

- In cooperation with the PM and KAM's sets the needs of new products and processes, all the while ensuring specifications & customer specific requirements are met in new projects, their successful introduction into production & supports production.

- VA / VE activities - In cooperation with a team of managers creates and maintains actions leading to increasing productivity (to improve productivity within keeping/lowering costs and meeting the requirements of quality)

- Responsible for change management. Keep track of all types of toolings (Fixtures, tools, gauges) & their inventory turnover, responsible for changes required or obsolescense of all tools & gauges in case of ECN

- Responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and update of data in SAP, including optimization of data.

- Monitoring and evaluation of activities under I.E, related to new projects.

- Optimization of layout and process due to the increase in new projects.
