Key Deliverables:
- Identifying and establishing a comprehensive budget with controls designed to mitigate risk, and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting, cost estimates, and revenue.
- Performing operational Control on factory efficiency, inventory control, and production. accounting system
- Providing critical assessment on all budgets and cost projections.
- Monitoring and review operations with focus on improving the factory efficiency and cost. reduction.
- Planning and driving clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals in collaboration with internal teams and strategies to minimize waste.
- Keeping track of the market trends that could impact resource costs and monitor new vendors and possible cost-cutting partnerships
- Demonstrating and applying comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
- Maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality
- Strengthening the controls on Inventory Material master controls, stock count, Physical verification at all warehouse/Depot
- Driving Working Capital improvements (Inventory optimization, lead time reductions etc.)
- Setting up operational rhythms with cross functional teams at sites & collaborate with function head for presenting the performance data
- Focusing on monitoring & controlling factory cost and presenting under over recovery
- Suggesting actions plans to reduce reclamation of overheads.
- Monitoring of commodity prices along with purchase team and forecasting the impact on material cost.
- Ensuring revenue recognition in accordance with internal control and defined guidelines
- Conducting Monthly reviews with site team on operational performance, KPI's, dashboards, tax compliance, Actuals Vs Budgets monitoring
- Reviewing the Monthly Closing and its reporting with explanation of variance with Budgets/Forecasts
- Overseeing the team's efforts to ensure proper accounting and closure of production orders, depreciation allocation, general services allocation and all accounting transactions
-Suggesting and implementing initiatives to improve Piaggio production accounting system including consumption accounting, Work order closure in SAP and maximizing automation in manufacturing units.
Desired Qualification:
- ICWA Qualified
- 12+ years of experience, out of which relevant should be 7+ years.
- ERP used: SAP FICO
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Strong analytical, research and finance modelling skills
- In -depth understanding of the market and the business.
