Job Description:
- To manage and conduct activities related to Compliance functions at apex level of the Bank mainly -
- Dissemination of regulatory guidelines;
- Monitoring and testing of compliance in the Bank;
- Reporting to the Senior Management and the Board;
- Providing clarifications on regulatory and legal aspects;
- Vetting of the Bank's internal documents like Policies, Product Papers, SOPs, etc.
- Coordination with external agencies like the Regulators, SROs, FIU, etc.
- Coordination with other Business/ Functional Units in the Bank.
Preferred Skill Set:
Educational Qualification: Technical Qualification
Essential: Graduation
Desirable: MBA
- CAIIB/ Any other Banking Programme
- Course in FEMA or KYC/AML/CFT
- Good overall knowledge of Banking Regulations
Detailed knowledge and Good understanding of either:
a) FEMA and Regulations; UCPDC; International Trade Norms; Foreign Trade Policy; RBI guidelines/ directives on Forex transactions, various Sanctions (OFAC/ EU/ UN), Operational aspects of Trade and Forex transactions;
or
b) KYC/ AML/ CFT related laws, international guidance/ standards, Indian regulations and guidelines; Operational aspects of adherence to KYC/ AML/ CFT requirements.
- Desirable good familiarity with the other areas stated in (ii) above.
- Good understanding of AML/ CFT aspects especially Transaction Monitoring, Typologies, Mitigant Measures
- Require good communication skills
Age Profile:30 to 40 years
Work Experience (in years)
- Around 10 - 12 years in banking. Exposure to different banking activities is desirable.
Experience in either:
- Trade and Forex areas;
or
- AML cells handling alerts for STRs; will be an advantage and in the other is desirable.
