Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Management

Department/Function : Risk Management Department / Credit Risk Management

Location - Corporate Office, Mumbai

Job Purpose - Credit Risk

Grade - Vice President 1/2

Reporting to - Head-Credit Risk

Job Responsibilities:

- Approve credit proposals within 'delegation power' assigned or recommend to next higher approving level for approval in accordance with the delegation power architecture set out.

- Lead initiatives for development of methodologies for measurement of credit portfolio analysis and associated process. Responsible for overall portfolio analysis, monitoring and reporting.

- Develop and enhance the credit portfolio monitoring/reporting framework which meets the requirements of various internal stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of credit risk reports. Identify key areas of portfolio concerns and provide recommendations on action plans.

- Assist in presentation of agenda related credit risk management/board risk committee which includes preparation of information pack, and responding to queries/analytical request from the committee.

- Designing/Enhancing Rating/scoring models across Bank's Portfolios/Segments.

- Computation of PD/LGD/EAD and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) under IND-AS

- Stress Testing of Credit Portfolio and suggest measures to mitigate risk

- Assist in managing and enhancing Risk Management systems for Credit Risk

- Vetting of Products launches under New Product Programme Policy and suggesting risk mitigants from credit risk perspective

- Assist in Stakeholders Management- Business, Credit, Strategy, Finance, Audit, Compliance, Regulatory, Top Management, Board etc.

- Implementation of various RBI related guidelines pertaining to Credit Risk

- Management and ensuring compliance to Audit - Statutory, Internal and RBI.

- Ensuring timely submission of Risk Based Supervision data points related to Credit Risk

- Participate proactively to various risk related projects and initiatives owing to synergies (i.e. ICAAP, Stress Testing, Credit Risk Models, ECL, etc.)

Key Skills:

- Strong understanding of Credit Risk analysis and Credit and related policies, process etc.

- Good understanding of Risk Management principles and Basel III and evolving practices, regulatory guidelines in this space.

- Possess strong problem solving skills (hypothesis-driven thinking, analytical, quantitative, conceptual skills)

- Capable of professional discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience to credit risk modelling is mandatory such as development / upgradation of Rating/Scoring card models, ECL.

- Exposure to ICAAP and related activities such as Stress testing of Credit Risk - Sensitivity and Scenario analysis

- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Proven ability to work in teams and manage projects and deliver business results in a rapidly changing and cross-functional matrix environment.

Other Specifications :

- Educational Qualification: CA/ MBA from reputed institute

- CFA, FRM shall be preferred qualification

- Experience: 12 to 16 years of relevant experience in the credit risk domain of reputed banks.
