Overall Job Description: Lead the acquisition of EDC machines in the zone through a dedicated channel. The primary focus of the job incumbent is Merchant t acquisition & Current Account Working Knowledge of Merchant Acquiring & Current Account is required.
- The incumbent should have 6-10 years of experience in Merchant acquisition with 2 years at leadership level at Region/Zone Level.
- He/She should have demonstrated traits of large & diverse geographical teams in his/her current stint.
- To develop business in respective zone by planning, directing and implementing sales strategies and programs to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the region.
- To effectively manage the business in the concerned region and achieving the sales objectives(Merchant Acquisition)
- Setting targets and monitoring them periodically to ensure that they are in line with the business plan
- Meeting the revenue and margin targets for the region
- Driving business development activities of the region
- Analyzing the sales trend and taking corrective actions wherever necessary-
- To develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team
- Managing, directing and coordinating the activities of the Sales Managers
- Accomplishing regional sales human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees in assigned zones
