Job title: Program Head - Pan Bank Liability Group (PBLG) Location: Gurgaon Reports to :- Head Liabilities BU/Function : PBLG About PBLG :- PBLG will play a critical role to Complement BU effort, leverage Product, Strategic projects, DSU groups to drive Liability initiatives and strengthen franchise through Penetration, Engagement, Synergy and Alternate sourcing channels. The group will Co-accountable for Pan Bank liability targets with BU Heads.- Key Priorities of this group would be :- - Progressively enhance Retailisation of Deposits across BUs and drive penetration of existing client wallets - Create workable CA strategy and drive CA Uplift: 4X in next 3 Years - Co-create initiatives to enhance retention, activation and deepening - Support client acquisition with inorganic / alternate channels - Reduce concentration risk and reliance on bulk deposits - Reduce CoD through CASA uplift and closely manage Term Deposit cost - Drive LCR (coverage) and NSFR (stability) objectives - Monitor liabilities portfolio and align BU-wise liability strategy to Bank's objectives. Role Details - Program Head - PBLG will be part of PBLG group for IndusInd Bank. The individual will work closely with BU Heads to create BU wise plans and support execution including leveraging the Bank's product capabilities to enhance product penetration and coverage across Clients and RMs. This role primarily, is responsible to support the PBLG Head to granulize the liability franchise. verall Job Description - Support the BU Head's to align, develop, enhance and drive the Liability Strategy for Retail (Mass, Affluent & NR) CII, CBG, PSU & Government Enterprises including Digital and Payments strategy. - Support the Head - PBLG in driving frontline (BU+ Products) KRAs to Bank Liability Goals, also support in creating appropriate Incentive and Reward & Recognition Model. - Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies and trend analysis to identify opportunities. - Scan market and identify emerging trends and market benchmarks to build Product Vision and Strategy and for the respective product teams to build a holistic solution. - Plan, propose, monitor and review liability product programs required to meet business targets. - Monitor and enhance CIF penetration of CASA/CMS/Payment Solution in asset led client base. - Monitor and enhance Product Holding/transaction intensity benchmarks across clients. - Increase the wallet sizing share at Client level in key segments - Affluent, NR, SME, CCBG - Participate in plan to include SME/BFIL/Rural Liability opportunity. - Enhance BU Synergy including synergy with BFIL and CFD for capitalizing on potential opportunity on existing clients. - Partner in creation and support / approvals for liability impacting initiatives - Partner in enhancing Product Holding & CMS penetration across Bank - Driving inorganic growth including alliances / partnerships with the Consumer BU - Support Head PBLG in designing and implementing marketing / brand building initiatives including creation of sub-brand to boost client acquisition in collaboration with product & marketing. - Liaise with various product teams of the bank like Digital banking, API team, Transaction Banking team, to support the building of solutions. Education Requirements: Essential requirement: MBA/PGDM Preferred: MBA/ PGDM from Tier 1 B School +BTech from NIT/IIT's. Work Experience Requirements: Essential Requirement - 8 -10 yrs of experience in Financial services domain. Preferred requirement: 5-7 yrs experience in Strategy Consulting /Planning / Program Management roles in Banking. Any specific skills required:- - Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability, detail orientation & interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Power point). Desired Behavioural / Functional Traits:- - Exposure to strategic customer communication will be an added advantage. - Ability to Work/engage with Senior Business leaders. - Strong collaboration skills to work with different Coverage teams and other units to maximise on lead transfer and create synergies .
