Job Description :
- Defining, managing, assessing and monitoring the credit policy norms for credit card portfolio
- Formulate the strategies for cross selling credit card to existing customer base and new customer acquisition
- Implement digital options for credit assessment with an objective of fast tracking the application process without compromising on key elements of risk
- Must have hands on knowledge and experience of implementing, running multiple risk scoring models vis. A Score, B Score and other bureau based models.
- Review the cards underwriting function constantly to ensure that decisions are in accordance with the approved credit policy
- Manage the post-acquisition customer lifecycle including strategic interventions on limits/exposures. Upgrades, offering incremental loan, closures etc
- Understanding the risk appetite of the organization and defining risk policies and process that subscribe to the risk frame work
- Create robust process flows to Implement the policies on System / Rule Engine ensuring absorption by the credit underwriting team
- Ongoing portfolio monitoring and portfolio analysis for the credit cards business identifying key trends for actions from a policy perspective
- Closely monitor the underwriter procedures and ensuring a seamless co-ordination and alignment with operations, fraud control and other stakeholders
- Independently engage with external stakeholders and partners to support business growth with acceptable risk
Qualifications :
- A Master's degree or a graduate degree holder with relevant experience
- 7+ years of total work experience with atleast 4 to 5 years in the credit cards credit and risk domain
- Good knowledge of credit policy, underwriting process and the operating market with first hand experiencing of implementing credit strategies for the retail cards business
- Knowledge of scoring models including Acquisition and behavior scoring models
- Must have the ability to work effectively within a team and be flexible to work on multiple projects
- Self-starter, with demonstrable ability to work proactively and independently to drive results
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Team Management Experience of at least 3 to 4 years.
