JOB SUMMARY : Strategic role with the mandate to support delivery of business goals and enable decision making across consumer banking business units using advance analytics. The role entails working with the various businesses and functions in liabilities (eg SA / CA / FD / TFx) and wealth management (insurance, investments, broking etc) - segment (Affluent, Mass) product, digital (mobile,net) channels (select,exclusive,pioneer) and geography (branch banking) teams to solve business problems, aid in strategic decision making, support in delivery of financial and client goals. with the objective of improving revenue per client across their lifetime, efficiency of the business as well as customer loyalty and experience DETAILED RESPONSIBILITY : 1. Leverage Advanced analytics to deliver results in 3 major areas : - Client - Client Lifecycle Management - deploy analytical/ AI assets to maximise client activation, engagement, cross-sell and retention via NBO &amp; NBA frameworks. Develop framework for maximizing client lifetime value - Employee - Enhancing productivity using predictive and prescriptive models to guide employees on what to offer - when - to whom - Strategic decision making from Product development to business opportunity / potential sizing as well as assisting in new product / program launches. Work with internal &amp; external consultants to support strategic projects 2. Build analytical delivery capabilities : - By attracting and developing talent - managing and retaining a high quality analytics experts - including Business Analysts, Modellers, Data Engineers, Database - Identifying and developing an external analytical partner/vendor ecosystem 3. Management analysis, reports, MIS and dashboards : - Evangelise democratization of data and analytics by promoting use of data in decision making - Ensure quality and timely delivery of management MIS / reports as well as descriptive analysis - Leverage tools like PowerBI / SAS VA / SSRS for automating and visualising information leading to actionable insights for users 4. Stakeholder management and inter-team collaboration 5. Model and data governance : - Owner of the consumer data mart - manage updation, integrity and security - Ensure client data privacy - Establish a framework for model evaluation and governance PREFERRED Skill Set / Education / Background : - Minimum 12-15 years of experience leading analytics teams in Banking or Financial services - Masters (MS/ MTech /MBA) or higher in Statistics / OR / AI / Management / Econometrics / Computer Science / from reputed top tier organisations - Exposure / experience in AI - Deep Learning / ML - SAS / R / Python / SQL / Tensorflow / Spark / Hadoop / PowerBI / SAS VA KPIs Impact : - Client Activation &amp; Engagement CASA balances / Transaction velocity / Direct banking penetration / Household penetration - Cross Sell Product Holding / Fee income / Productivity / Cost of Acquisition / Client loyalty - Predicting &amp; arresting attrition Client longevity / Balance protection / Enhanced CLTV - Building &amp; publishing Dashboards and MIS Performance &amp; Client management - Descriptive analysis to support new projects Strategic decision support.
