Position Title: Data Analyst

Company: Indus Towers Ltd.

Location: Gurgaon

Reports to:Project Manager IT

Position Summary:Responsible for analyzing data, identifying patterns and providing technical excellence towards analysis, design and implementation activities for all ongoing projects.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Collaborates across technical teams and Business Analysts/Consultants(Indus or 3rd party) to procure and analyze data

- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests

- Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing and futuristic data sources

- Proactively create and present quality analysis including dashboards

- Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Ensuring smooth and proper running of database

Qualifications &Experience

- A minimum of 6 -8 years of overall experience in IT applications.

- Should hold BE/B.Tech./MCAor equivalent degree.

- Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development.

- 4+ years of experience as Data analyst or database administrator

- Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments for instance - Excel, XML and seasoned in writing and interpreting complex SQLs

- Experienced in conceptualization of data and sharing knowledge through effective presentation of the data output with the rest of the team

- Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate

- Understanding of Telecom applications and software standards

- Telecom industry related experience is preferred
