Job Description – Business Manager – East Region

Grade/ Designation:Band D / Assistant Manager/Manager

Reporting to:Regional Director – East

Location: Kolkata

JOB PURPOSE:

To track/analyze the status of key metrics function wise on a daily basis and red flag mechanism helps in judicious use of time of RD - East towards evaluating/assessing/reviewing high-risk/key action items which helps in achieving excellence on all business effecting parameters.

Brief Profile (Accountabilities and Responsibilities) :

1. Drive all departments for timely and accurate data sharing across the Region for meaningful analysis to be used by Regional Director and Submit error-free/accurate presentation to RD/COO's office/Customers for key decision making

- Circulate the format to be used for data collection.

- Fix up a deadline for sharing the same.

- Follow up on progress made during regular intervals

- Seek clarifications if any and ensure that there is complete understanding among the departments of expected outcome.

- Collate the data submitted and get it reviewed by Regional Director in the presence of FH's before final submission to RD/COO/Customer

2. Regular tracking of AOP Vs. Actual with the relevant departments and sharing of key issues with Regional Director

- Percolate the AOP nos. circulated by corporate to all the departments.

- Seek update on monthly basis from Finance on Topline/Cost performance.

- Highlight the lines where the Region is ahead/on course/behind the AOP nos. to Regional Director.

- Analyze the impact of revenue enhancement and cost improvement measures on the actual nos.

3. Organize for regular team review meetings for performance discussion and improvements

- Circulate the agenda of discussion in advance for due preparation.

- Prepare a MOM of the review meeting

- Circulate the MOM with the action points/deadlines agreed during the review.

- Track the closure and ensure reporting to Regional Director in case of non-compliance or deviation

4. Execution of Special Projects/initiatives which contributes to the overall Region’s business objectives and strategy

Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skill Sets Required (Mandatory/ Preferred):

- A BE/B-Tech with an MBA (premier B School – 2008/2009 passouts), preferably with around 1-2 yrs of experience into business analysis/strategy side.

- A person who has worked in a business outcome driven environment and has a strong drive of viewing every action from a business impacting point of view.

- MS Office tools

- Business outcome driven with a solution mindset

- Analytical skills

- Innovative and capability to come up with out of box Ideas.

- Good communication/inter-personal skills

- Good facilitator/coordinator
