Job description:

Indus International is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production / Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while driving continuous improvement and innovation in our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ownership of KRAs:

- Manage and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) including throughput, cost, and quality to meet production targets.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce production costs

without compromising quality.

2. People Leadership:

- Lead and motivate a team of over 50 production staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.

- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, ensuring their growth and development.

3. Manufacturing Excellence and Continuous Improvement:

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance overall manufacturing performance.

4. Manufacturing Innovation and Process Engineering:

- Lead innovation initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, products, and technologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.

5. Waste Reduction:

- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve resource utilization.

- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize production processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree in Engineering or a related field is essential.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry (OEMs / Components).

- Proven track record of managing large teams of over 50 people in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

- Demonstrated experience in driving manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
