Operation Responsibilities
- Have hands on experience in managing an offsite team and ensuring they are kept up to date with Lenovo (PCG/DCG/Moto) business flows and EMEA Indirect tax rules.
- Have hands on experience with SAP and SAP use for Indirect tax compliance tasks (preparation and additional tasks).
- EU / Non-EU country specific tax code treatment, Tax codes are set up by business/ companies itself. Have hands on experience/ knowledge what tax code is applicable in which situation (tax code specific knowledge EMEA wide - which links into the VAT knowledge requirement).
- Have hands on experience in the preparation of VAT, ESL, ESPL and other local reporting requirements in EMEA is a must
- Have hands-on experience in forex conversion/usage
- Be responsible for undertaken the transactional data support and required preparation for indirect tax compliance activities
- Supporting the preparation of other local miscellaneous filings
- Be responsible for the required preparation for VAT compliance activities
- Supporting the update of the tax master data changes for Indirect Tax
- Supporting the payment calculation and set up through raising payment in TDP portal
- Supporting the reconciliations activities for Indirect tax including import analysis supporting the reconciliations activities for indirect tax including intrastat analysis
- Collecting and preparing data for auditing purpose
- Supporting the update of compliance manuals and processes
- Provide support in preparation and understanding (proactive input Lenovo)/ review of
Experience Requirements :
- EMEA VAT experience is a must, 10+ working experiences in EMEA VAT
- Experiences in tax affairs related to manufacturing industry and Import & Export issues preferred
Skill Requirements :
- Working knowledge on taxation, BPO experience, 10+ year

- Good knowledge on EMEA tax law and regulations and good understanding of local practices
