JOB DESCRIPTION - INDIRECT TAX

Detailed Criteria:

1 Job Description - Review of monthly accounting, management reports

- Proactive in dealing with client issues. All issues must be properly studied, researched and closed within strict deadlines set

- Ensure delegation and coordination among teams to achieve desired results

- Weekly to do meetings to be organized and discussed with the team. Feedback provided to the Manager

- Responding and providing solutions on technical issues to clients and internal teams

- Ensuring systems and processes are being followed by teams

- Regularly discuss and report client issues to the Manager or Partner

- Building and strengthening client relationships through regular meetings

- Guide, direct and motivate team members and team building

Educational Qualification (essential and additional) - CA and LLB Degree will be an advantage

Area of expertise (please highlight keywords) - Qualified CA, with more than 2+ years of post-qualification experience in professional services firm.

- Expert in Indirect tax compliances, advisory & litigation matters.

- Should possess experience in handling clients independently.

- Working knowledge of Indirect taxes including GST, Customs & foreign trade policy.

- Should have analytical thought processes to understand and interpret legal provisions of relevant laws.

- Should be a good communicator - both verbal and written

- Strong team player

- Should have experience of working with both Indian and foreign clients

- Should have soft skills - essential for handling people and clients
