We are hiring for a Indirect taxation with a leading manufacturing client based in Ahmedabad.

Skills :The candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / Law Graduate from a good university and have a minimum of 10 year hands on experience in handling litigations under GST, Excise, Service Tax, Sales Tax, etc. and thorough knowledge in State Incentive Policies.

Responsibility:

- Tax Planning for the organization and all the BUs.

- Keeping the organization aware of the implications of various direct and indirect tax laws on business decisions.

- Dealing with tax authorities

- Internal coordination.

- Working with external resources for advice and resolutions.

- Tax compliance - computations, deposit, returns & assessments, appeals.

- Tax Audit, certification for Transfer Pricing.

- Tax Deductions at Source (TDS) - deduction, deposit, returns & assessments & appeals.

- Any Other related matter.

- Representing audits, assessments, appeals and other related matters for group of legal entities before Tax Assessment and Appellate Authorities

- Reviewing submissions for tax assessments, appeals, penalty, show cause, revision, order giving effects, refunds, recovery, rectification, and other proceedings.

- Interacting with external tax authorities/ advisors/ counsels/ consultants

- Support in Implementation, Customization and Maintenance of SAP system from Tax Standpoint.

- Validating monthly GST and customs compliances

- Review Reconciliation of Tax GL with books on monthly basis

- Co-ordinating with various stakeholders for Purchase Register vs GSTR2B recon.

- Review monthly compliance of job work process.
