Indirect Tax Officer - Legal Firm

Urgent requirement for Indirect Tax Officer in a Legal firm for Kolkata.

Salary: 10 LPA-12 LPA

Qualification : Chartered Accountant/MBA/CS

Candidate should have experience from Consulting firm

Key Responsibilities:

- Experience in managing and GST and Service Tax compliance

- Supporting location in charge about admissibility/non admissibility of Input Tax Credit and compliance of prescribed act, rules, and procedures in respect of areas related with service tax/GST laws to avoid litigation/unwanted show cause notice for demand of duty/interest/penalty of any kind.

- Addressing the working of GST liability /payment with respect to outward supply/ Reverse Charge /GTA etc.

- Preparation and filing of correct tax return under GST

- Tax compliance for the following monthly / quarterly / yearly functional activities related to GST.

- Complying with Input Tax Credit provisions of service tax on timely basis with motive of zero leakages and ensuring compliance
