Indirect Tax - Mfg/Construction

We are having urgent opening with our client. Our client is a technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company. It is one of the largest and most respected companies in India's private sector.

Position: Indirect Tax Personnel

Location: Powai

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for Indirect Taxes Advisory relating to:

- Manufacturing, project and services, business and Construction contracts

- Covering central excise, customs, service tax, VAT / CST, octroi /LBT/ entry tax and other taxes. Person should be able to advice on tax procedures & documentation.

- Will be responsible to co-ordinate / handle various tax notices, audits, assessments & litigation

Areas of Exposure/ Work Background: Should have experience of independently handling Indirect Tax Laws.

- Behavioural Competencies: Good Team Worker, Interpersonal & Networking

- Technical Qualification: Should possess core Indirect Tax Knowledge & experience. Should also possess good interpretation / drafting and communication skills.
