IndiGo - Associate Director - Route Navigation & Service Projects

1. Evaluation of Regulatory Documents issued by DGCA/EASA/FAA (CAR, Operations Circulars, AIC, AD's, AIP & AIP Supplements)

a. Recommend changes to operational policies and technical publications

b. Monitor global aircraft equipment mandates and requirements applicable to company fleet for subsequent implementation with Aircraft manufacturer by Engg

c. Evaluate operational software's and projects for their conformance with regulations and subsequent compliance after induction.

d. Represent company in all regional route development regulatory workshops and regional coordination groups constituted by DGCA/ICAO/IATA etc.

2. Ensuring compliance of organizational policy and technical publications related to flight operations against latest regulatory requirements in the following areas:

a. Flight Operations related regulatory compliance for all new stations/countries in coordination with Network Planning/ Aero political

b. Management of continuing regulatory compliance and enhancements of EFB

c. Responsible for validation of company documents against latest regulatory guidance prior to publication in coordination with EFB & Tech Pubs team

d. Liaison with regulatory authorities for entrusted areas of responsibility

e. Support for IOSA and Regulatory audits

3. Accountable for ensuring compliance with CORSIA regulations as a primary focal point and to discharge responsibilities as a member of Environment cell

4. Accountable to ensure optimal route planning across company's network to achieve highest achievable standards of operational efficiency, and ensure availability of support to Flight Dispatch/OCC

5. Accountable for management of flight planning software and implementation of Flight Planning policies and procedures and ensuring timely resolution of queries pertaining to onboard navigation database, FMS, flight planning software & Electronic Flight Folder (EFF).

6. Responsible to provide technical support encompassing the following:

a. Support to Flight Dispatch including Quality assurance functions for Flight Planning Software, Flight Watch & Electronic Flight Folder (EFF).

b. Support related to Navigation database across fleet types (ARINC 424) & Aeronautical Charts including AMM

c. Support related to voice and data communications (ARINC, SITA, VHF/HF, CPDLC etc.)

d. Keep Track of changes in upgrades of Aircraft FMS and customize AOC, AMI, OPC as per organizational requirement.

7. Responsible for Evaluation, Implementation & management of various aircraft and ground based software's and related projects for enhancement of Flight operations efficiency and automation in coordination with stakeholders.

8. Responsible for coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors providing services pertaining to Flight Operations Support on new and existing contractual obligations.

9. Responsible for Management and QA of Flight Crew notifications in Pre flight documentation (Company NOTAMs) in coordination with ATM Team.

10. All change management / Hazard identification activities and SRA's pertaining to entrusted areas of responsibility in coordination with stakeholders.
