Job Title - Director - Technology Head - IndiGo's Loyalty Program

Work Mode - Work from office (All 5days, Mandatory)

Job Location - Gurgaon

Job Summary:

The Loyalty Technology Head will lead and manage all technological aspects of IndiGo's Loyalty Program. This role requires a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, enterprise architecture & systems and integrations with different systems. The role will need a close collaboration with the Loyalty Management System (LMS) & other related technology vendors for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the Loyalty Program's technology landscape.

Qualifications & Experience:

- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in technology, with a strong background in product lifecycle management, solution architecture, and project management.

- Prior experience in overseeing enterprise-level projects, with a preference for those in the travel domain focusing on airlines and Loyalty Programs.

- Hands-on experience in understanding system integrations and their implications, especially when working with external platform providers.

- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Define and execute the technology strategy for IndiGo's Loyalty Program in alignment with the company's business goals.

- Thought leader and knowledge of the latest industry trends and potential technology solutions in the loyalty domain.

- Work collaboratively with the team (and partners), where relevant, at all levels across the organisation, to ensure that Loyalty Program's digital and technology services and products are customer-led, cost-effective, scalable, easy to use and meet current and future needs.

- Develop Loyalty Program's capability, processes and team structures in managing change, agile software development and rapid deployment, cyber security, data management and service management.

Product Lifecycle Management:

- Understand, develop, and oversee the technology roadmap and entire lifecycle of the Loyalty Program's technology products and services.

- Collaborate with the LMS platform provider & other technology partners to ensure new product developments, enhancements are aligned with Loyalty Program's vision and objectives.

- Own the development and delivery backlog planning, and prioritising of resources across the Technology team to ensure an effective balance between our tech transformation, our BAU projects, delivery and ongoing maintenance and support of the Loyalty Program's platforms and services.

- Prepare and communicate a clear vision and delivery plan for the Loyalty Program's technology and digital services transformation to all stakeholders.

- Utilize established project management methodologies for tracking progress, risk management, and efficient resource allocation.

System Integrations:

- Lead integration efforts with internal systems such as PSS (Navitaire), CRM (Salesforce), ERP (SAP), and other external partners, understanding the challenges and impact of these integrations on the overall technology landscape.

- Engage with program partner's technology teams to ensure seamless integration with the IndiGo's LMS & other relevant applications, and successful onboarding of program partners on to the Loyalty Program in line with the requirements of the Loyalty Program.

Service Management:

- Ensure that Loyalty Program's key technology services are resilient, secure, and scalable and that cyber security, software development, support processes and systems are constantly aligned with industry standards and certifications.

- Incident management and technology partner SLA management

Team Leadership & Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing team, including analysts to execute program strategies and initiatives effectively.

- Performance Management: Set clear goals and expectations for team members, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development. Foster an environment of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.

Business development:

- Contribute to the writing of bids, proposals, costing and pricing as required

- Support business development activities to help make high-level new partnership and funding conversations happen.

Budget and resource management:

- Develop and manage the budget for third party technology spend and ensure cost-optimisation of technology partners' services.

Skills & Competencies:

- Deep knowledge of product enhancement and its implications.

- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in technology platforms pertinent to airlines and Loyalty Programs.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
