Indigo 91.9 FM - Manager - Finance - CA

Educational Background: Must be a CA from 1-4 years of experience into Finance Management.

A self-starter and result-oriented Finance professional with proven track record in financial management and meticulous controllership with well-rounded experience in start-up environment and challenging business situations.

- A versatile experience in diverse industries with exposure to multiple facets of a finance role from strategic decision making to budgeting & analysis, statutory accounting, process implementation, business finance, risk management, treasury and compliance.

- Having interacted with people across functions & hierarchies, have inculcated the habit of seeking trends and analytics in data without losing sight of the strategic objective and work as a business enabler rather than as controller.

- Will be working closely with CEO on business strategic plans and design.

- Have an exposure working closely with Senior Leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Should possess a specific, documented and compelling vision of the organization- a clear description and plan for modifying processes, technologies, skill profiles, cost profiles and services for the enterprise.

- Changes outlined in the vision of the finance function are clearly aligned with specific changes in the business and the short- and long-term strategic goals of the company.

- Ensure Finance achieves continuous improvement in accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of control and compliance activities.

- Commandeering sufficient resources for finance and related infrastructure to get on the road to recovery

- Deploying skilled contractors and consultants to provide immediate relief in meeting control and compliance requirements

- Decisions to upgrade talent in key leadership positions

- Stemming the attrition of talented staff through compensation improvements and direct action on root causes of job dissatisfaction

- Create a clear and compelling vision of what the finance function would become over the next few years

- Implement a governance process for planning and managing much-needed improvements in business processes and infrastructure across all functional disciplines
