Designation: Data Scientist

The Data Scientist would be responsible for design & implementation of scalable & repeatable models that can help create Business impact. At IndiaProperty, the Data Sciences team would spend time evolving the Search algorithm obsessing about presenting the most relevant results set to a user's query, understanding Users basis behaviour and customising the experience to suit their context & need and finally support the Supply side analytics in detecting price trend pattern, predictions as well as fraud detection

The Role :

- Understand the Business, the data flows and use / create data structure and streams as required

- Creating Models to deliver to stated Business outcomes (eg., Search Relevance, Visitor Profiling & Personalization, Fraud detection etc)

- Collaborate with a team of Engineers in bringing the model to life - Productionising it & implementing it live on site

- Develop Experimentation plans and evolving the model as we learn

The Requirements :

- 1-3 years of Analytics industry experience building statistical models

- Hands on experience with a Programming language (R, SAS, Python/other relevant languages) to build models

- Proficient in Excel and SQL

- Ability to deconstruct Business requirements into input / output factors

- Strong expertise and experience in managing large Datasets towards Mathematical Modeling, Predictive Algorithms & Machine learning

- A demonstrated track record of having used Data to create successful interventions & positive Business outcomes

- Ability to Develop, Test & implement code

- A passion for algorithms, predictive modeling and experimentation

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related quantitative fields from a Premier institute / University
