The role holder will work with the Director of Strategic Capacity Building (SCB) on a key advisory strategic project with a reputed international foundation to support a Regional Program on sanitation, across 7 countries from South Asian region. The role holder will help to expand the SCB consulting and advisory practice, undertake a variety of tasks related to the consulting, organizational development strategies and capacity building of different stakeholders from the social impact sector such as Government, Civil Society Networks, Thematic Experts, with the aim of building their institutional and individual capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the project lifecycle engagement of one of the strategic projects in domains of WASH - spread across the South Asian region- the project focuses on inclusive sanitation for vulnerable communities

2. Work with internal and external consultants to manage and support the project deliverables on areas such as results framework, program design, monitoring & evaluations, capacity building of CSOs and partners, knowledge management, documentation and dissemination, advocacy strategy documentation and training etc.

3. Provide project management support: Support project teams (internal and external) in the implementation of strategic initiatives, process improvements, and change management efforts.

4. Develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage stakeholder expectations

5. Conduct research, analysis and document reports

6. Work with the curriculum & content teams to contextualize programs for the project needs to enhance clients program impact - in areas such as women leadership development, program and project management, government advocacy, M&E etc.

7. Facilitate communication and knowledge exchange to drive cross learning across countries and projects

8. Build client relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their unique needs and challenges, and provide ongoing support and consulting services

Experience and Qualification Required

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Additional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Six Sigma are a plus

2. The candidate should preferably have 8-12 years of work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in core domain of consulting, designing and managing programs for capacity building

3. Significant experience in management consulting or related roles, working with diverse clients and industries.

4. Experience in leading and managing projects, conducting research and analysis, and developing strategic plans. Any sectoral experience in WASH (advisory, capacity building) will be a significant benefit

5. Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze complex business challenges, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.

6. Consulting skills: Demonstrated ability to assess client needs, develop and implement effective HR strategies, and provide actionable recommendations.

7. Communication and presentation skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders at various levels.

8. Business acumen: A solid understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and industry trends. Ability to quickly grasp the client's business context and provide relevant insights and recommendations.

9. Project management skills: Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively within defined timelines and budgets.

10. Collaboration and teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with client teams, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering strong relationships and driving consensus to achieve project objectives. A collaborative and client-focused mindset is essential.

11. Adaptability and flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing client needs and project requirements.

12. Ethical conduct: Maintain high professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in handling client information and sensitive data.

13. Travel availability: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
