Indian School of Development Management - Lead - Strategic Initiatives & Operations

- To help drive change at the institutional level, with a new positioning, brand and programme for its next phase of growth, ISDM is looking for a senior executive as Chief of Staff.

- This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial and motivated leader with a passion to create large-scale impact by helping to build a world class educational institution that is reshaping the development sector.

- The candidate will work closely with the CEO to implement specific organizational initiatives across key functions of brand, business development, technology and culture and accountability. The candidate will be responsible for implementing changes, overseeing key operating functions, restructuring and repurposing teams, and driving an ambitious and achievement-oriented culture across the organization.

- The role will require a dynamic and self-driven leader capable of thinking strategically about brand development, positioning, technology and digital strategy and outreach and marketing, along with an awareness of the tools and frameworks of leading-edge organization management, performance benchmarking and lean operations.

- The candidate must also be comfortable working with senior leaders across domains and functions and handling the complexity and ambiguity that comes with building a still young institution.

The Chief of Staff will report to the CEO of ISDM.

Key Responsibility Areas :

- Prepare and execute a strategic operating and oversight plan for the organization

- Work with senior management on a new operating and oversight plan for the organization with key goals and deliverables across teams and accountability and performance tracking

- Align senior team leaders on the organizations vision and operating plan

- Drive performance across teams with key oversight and reporting mechanisms

- Manage the strategic operating and oversight plan with other key stakeholders, including Founders, Board & Advisory Members and other Partners

- Oversee the Organizations Brand Outreach & Business Development Efforts

- Develop an effective brand positioning for ISDM along with the Founders

- Work with senior team leaders, especially the Lead Engagement & Communication to drive strategic brand positioning efforts for ISDM across channels and avenues

- Lead cross-functional dependencies for brand development

- Create business development opportunities including strategic partnerships in knowledge, placement and funding

- Build ISDMs strategic capabilities and resources in brand development and business development to take advantage of its unique offering in the Indian market

- Implement the Organizations Technology & Digital Strategy Initiatives

- Work with ISDMs senior leadership, advisors and technical team to drive technology and digital initiatives with a long-term perspective

- Oversee operating plans, budgets, allocations and hiring to execute the technology and digital strategy

- Establish strong operating focus in implementing digital initiatives

- Keep abreast of relevant technology trends and tools for ISDM
