Digital Campaign Associate - Lok Sabha 2024 - West Bengal

Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is seeking professionals who can play a pivotal role in the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024 in our West Bengal project.

About Us:

Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is the platform of choice for students and young professionals to participate in and make meaningful contributions to political affairs and governance of the country, without necessarily being part of a political party.

Started as Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) in 2013, I-PAC has brought some of the best minds from diverse academic and professional backgrounds together and provided them with a unique opportunity to become a part of the election process and influence policy making in India.

I-PAC works with visionary leaders with a proven track record. In the process, the group helps them set a citizen-centric agenda and partners with them to conceptualize & implement the most effective methods of taking it to the public and gathering mass support.

We are looking for individuals, who will be responsible for developing and executing communication plans and digital campaigns to support current digital platforms in each region of the state. As a part of I-PAC's Digital Team, you will be required to conceptualize, strategize, and implement innovative political campaigns across all social media platforms.

As a Digital Campaign Associate, you are expected to have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, solve complex problems and address political developments on an everyday basis, and have the tenacity to survive tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Build a robust human network and create a channel of content propagation via various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp at the grass root level

- Detect the political pulse of different demographic, geographic, and legislative entities by analyzing digital platforms, interpersonal communication, and social listening

- Liaise with political and social stakeholders including party leadership, post holders, journalists, media houses, community groups, and frontals, facilitating digital presence and communications

- Plan, conceptualize, and execute micro and macro digital campaigns in coordination with on-ground internal and external stakeholders

- Curate content from the ground and streamline propagation of those packaged content across the digital ecosystem along with narrative building strategy

- Coordinate with various internal IPAC teams including field campaign team, digital communications, media, data analytics, and strategic research to achieve campaign targets

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors / Masters or equivalent degree from premier institutes

- At least 1-3 years of work experience in top organizations

- Exposure to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Understanding of social media platforms and digital best practices, SEO and web traffic metrics, experience with video content creation and storyboarding

- Willingness to travel extensively and long working hours

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, etc

- Have good interpersonal skills and exposure to dealing with various kinds of stakeholders

- Hands-on experience with Google, Facebook, and other Social Media products for reporting and measuring KPIs

- Ability to design, conceptualize and execute end-to-end digital campaign

- Proficient in speaking and reading English and Bengali
