Principal Duties/Responsibilities : - Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic and implement and manage social media programs. - Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities (marketing R&amp;D). - Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the use of social media. Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences - Strategize with and educate people in incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company's products and services. - Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts. - Managing profiles and pages on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other community sites. - Ability to generate engaging and interesting posts in both written and visual forms (info- graphics.) Creating blogs and publishing content on blogs. - Managing Message Boards and Social Media content writing. - Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications. - Evaluation &amp; negotiation with publishers for long-term deal. - Coordinating with design &amp; creative team for media buy creative of high quality. - Identifying the target audience for a particular media campaign and deciding how best to communicate to that audience. - Keeping up to date with industry research figures, including distribution figures for newspapers and magazines and audience figures for television and radio. - Monitoring buying strategies. - Liaising and building relationships with clients and media sales companies - Negotiating with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces in online, broadcast and print advertising. Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience : Educational Qualifications : - Master in Marketing, Media Research. Professional Experience : - 6-10 Years of work experience in Media Buying, Social Media - Experience in B2C is a must. - Experience with a start-up would be added advantage. Functional Competencies : - Team work and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and colleagues - Atleast 7+ years of hands on experience in Media Buying for mobile performance CPI/CPE campaigns. - Well versed with buying of media from multiple platforms. - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Presentation skills for reporting back to clients - Good numerical, analytical and research skills to evaluate campaigns - Strong organisational skills, accuracy and the ability to assimilate information quickly - Negotiation skills to get the best advertising space at the best price - A good understanding of Social Media - The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make decisions quickly - Problem-solving skills. - Budget awareness.
