India Vikas Party - Founding Team Member

Do you believe that India has been, for far too long, held hostage to the dishonesty and incompetence of its political leadership- Do you believe that you can make an active and positive contribution to the Indian politics- Are you someone who wants to see India progress as a liberal democracy- If yes, we invite you to apply to become one of the founding members of a new political party, the India Vikas Party (IVP).

The IVP (www.IndiaVikasParty.org) is committed to the economic development of all Indians. With honesty, competence and progressive values as its founding principles, the IVP will work to make India a developed country - both in terms of per capita income and living standards.

We are looking for 100 founding members and it is absolutely essential that every single one of them is a great fit with our values. It could be you if :

- You are a person of high moral integrity, are honest and competent and have a heartfelt passion for making India a better place.

- You hold progressive, liberal views and agree with the founding principles of the IVP, substantially if not wholly. We are NOT looking for jingoists or fundamentalists of any shade.

- You have the willingness and ability to commit 5-10 hours every week on a regular basis. You don't need to leave whatever you are doing .

- You have at least 5 years of professional experience.

- You consider yourself knowledgeable about at least one of the Top Fifteen problems outlined in the position paper on our website. It would be useful if you are also proficient in at least one of the following: marketing, social media, data analysis, leadership, drafting policy, campaign strategy, PR, organizing, project-management, clear & persuasive writing, public-speaking.

- You are a self-starter who takes initiatives and get things done. As a founding member you will be entrusted with big responsibilities and consequently will have an enormous influence on the IVP's future trajectory.

- Your physical location is not important but you might occasionally be required to travel to attend IVP meetings. You must have an Indian passport to be an IVP member (you could still be a - Supporter of IVP- if you have foreign citizenship).
