Job Title : Finance Controller

Business : Finance & Accounts

Location : Mumbai

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities :-

1. Develop/maintain financial, operational and commercial controls as it relates to the above functions, including SOPs, guidelines, etc.

2. Provide key financial and operating information as part of monthly Management summary/brief.

3. Oversee core Corporate and Divisional Reporting, Treasury and Cash-flow planning functions

4. Enhance management processes and tools for better control, analysis and visibility.

5. Ensure that all requirements are met for statutory, and other audits conducted by Internal/ External auditors. Ensure that audit recommendations are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.

6. Coordinate risk assessment and reviews, ensure risk plan are being developed and milestones being met.

7. Auditors-Internal & External, outside consultants, distributors, CFA's, Gov authorities, Tax consultants, Customs, VAT returns, TDS and Service Tax returns.

8. Understanding of key business processes in an operational and fast changing environment.

9. Accounting Books & ledger to be maintained as per requirement of the company

10. Abide to guide the team in routine accounting matters & ensure that accounting is as per Indian accounting standard and company requirement

11. Ensure timely closure of all monthly activities

12. Bank reconciliation and maintenance of accounts. Finalization of Accounts, Financial Budgeting, Preparation of Quarterly / Annual Financial Results

13. Internal control over accounting transaction and proper documentation for same

14. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.

15. Ensure Statutory Compliance and Audit Compliances for all tax related transactions.

16. Liaison with statutory auditors and ensure completion of audits within agreed timelines.

17. Responsible for providing short term direction for all regional commercial functions so that the financial transactions, policies and procedures meet the organizations short term and medium term business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations and standards.

18. Responsible for credit control, internal audit, budgeting & forecasting and Business decision support.

19. Responsible to lead and develop a team of senior managers to ensure that the organizations financial strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to establishes guidelines.

20. Handling Monthly Accounts, MIS, Budgeting, Finalization, Audits for Asset Management & Facilities Management. Legal Agreements, Contracts, Purchasing, Service Tax, VAT, TDS etc. compliances, Bill processing.

21. Contract processing, Purchase, Inventory Control & Management.

22. Outstanding recoveries and Accounts payable Management

Job Requirement/Specification:-

Education : Minimum CA, ICWA, MBA-Finance

Experience : Minimum 12-18 yrs in a cross section of Finance and operational functions. Leadership experience a must.
