Description : - The Financial Controller plays a key role at Incofin with specific accountability for accounting, reporting, internal control, treasury and tax for a number of Funds and the Indian Subsidiary. - The primary requirement is for an operationally focused Financial Controller who combines business focus with integrity and strong interpersonal skills. - The successful candidate must have a very clear fit with Incofin's impact vision and mission. - The business has a hands-on, entrepreneurial ethos with a flat structure and short lines of communication in a very international and dynamic context. The successful candidate must be able to quickly assimilate into this informal but driven environment. Key responsibilities : - Provide leadership, direction and management of the Controllership team in India - Oversee the closing and reporting processes for number of funds under Management - Own the statutory and regulatory filing processes of funds under management - Manage the financial operations of a number of funds (capital calls &amp; distributions, investor reporting, board meetings, compliance monitoring, etc.) - Coordinate the valuation committee and ensure proper valuation of all assets of Incofin's funds - Manage the external audit process - Management of main financial systems (accounting, expense management, payments, etc.) - Ensure tax compliancy for number of funds under Management - Advise on technical accounting matters Minimum requirement : - Chartered accountant - Audit, Operational Finance and accounting experience from top firm (Big 6) - Experience in Banking or Financial Services Industry is preferable - Candidates residing in Chennai will be given preference
