We are hiring for the position of Incentive Compensation Management-Consultant, in top most management consulting firms for Chennai location.

Please find below JD for the same.

ROLE

- Responsible for managing and deploying globally consistent processes that support Incentive Compensation Management operations and application support. They will serve as the primary source of contact between the client and the operations team for all process-related activities and changes. This role will serve as an escalation point to resolve operational customer issues. He/she works directly with the Chennai Service Delivery Lead to support the project, and shall be the point of contact for day to day operational activities.

The shall work with the corresponding Client , as well as the Delivery Center Lead, to drive standard processes and performance metrics across the Regions. Included in the roles and responsibilities of the shall be the following:

(i) Driving consistency across all Regions and coordinating regional efforts towards global process standardization;

(ii) Managing the Change Control process

(iii) Reviewing and providing recommendations on process specific Change Requests received from Client;

(iv) Managing work activities of Business Support Services such as Controls & Compliance monitoring and Service Management reporting;

(v) Resolving or escalating process area specific service issues according to the “Dispute Resolution Procedures” outlined in this Attachment.

(vi) Participating in client’s annual incentive compensation plan design and review activities and ensuring necessary information and training is provided to operations team;

(vii) Work closely with incentive compensation team and Field finance team to manage the processing of the activities, manage participant data, quota calculations, exception case management, compensation calculations, adjustments, and payouts.

(viii) Manage integrity of participants’ quota and assignment during annual planning process.

(ix) Manage ongoing link between sales quotas and territories, roles, and personnel information.

(x) Lead effort to ensure payments are accurate and files are transmitted to payroll on time. Help monitor and validate revenue and quota data integrity and accuracy to ensure correct and equitable payouts

(xi) Process Stewardship

a. Develop and maintain the design of the process to facilitate Service delivery in accordance with the requirements of the MSOW including the design of a balanced scorecard of Service Level metrics;

b. Promote consistency across all geographies/regions and coordinate efforts towards global process standardization;

c. Work with the Client to decide on the disposition to individual geography/country exceptions to global standard processes;

d. Promote process design that is aligned to help Microsoft meet its requirements of a sustainable controls environment as specified by the organisation and regulatory needs of specific geographies;

e. Resolve or escalate process area-specific Service issues that relate to the underlying process design

(xii) Continuous Improvement, Quality Control and Transformation

a. Develop and promote the continuous improvement and transformation of the processes to move toward improvements in cost, productivity and quality;

b. Support and on-going continuous improvement efforts led by the service delivery teams;

c. Promote the design and development of “ Best Practices” and standard tools.

(xiii) Service Delivery Support

a. Support Service delivery teams to achieve Service delivery in accordance with the requirements of the MSOW through monitoring of process performance;

b. Support the Service delivery teams in resolving Service issues;

c. Review and approve process specific changes to meet evolving business and Service delivery needs; for avoidance of doubt, all such activities shall be processed through the Change Control Process.

d. Support the transition of work from countries into the Service delivery model.

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of experience in Incentive Compensation Management process design, management, operations, or related field

- Demonstrated ability manage to an operating budget

- Strong customer service and client interaction skills

- Strong in Excel and MS Office

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately communicates with all levels of customers from assistants to Sr. Executives

- Experience in managing client relationships

- Experience in successfully managing escalated issues

- Experience in process improvement implementation

- Ability & willingness to coach/develop others

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Post Graduate (or relevant work experience)

MBA preferred

Work Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast paced customer service environment.

- Minimum of 3 years in a Managerial/supervisory role

- Previous Incentive Compensation Management experience preferred

- Business knowledge on managing Incentive Compensation operations or exposure to Incentive Compensation process in an outsourced environment

- Liaison with Field Finance team, compensation team, payroll team for accurate calculation of incentive compensation

- Experience in managing financial services process within BPO and/or in an outsourced or shared service.

- Experience in Change Control and/or process reengineering and implementation
