Sr. Technical Manager - Cloud_SaaS_DevOps

Role and responsibilities :

- Responsible for Programme management, Delivery prioritization and assignments.

- Responsible for driving the feature enhancements, software defect resolutions

- Guiding customer support team to answer support team questions and customer inquiries on Clients technology

- Responsible for leading and mentoring junior team managers on problem solving and trouble ticket analysis skills to have efficient timely defect resolution

- Work closely with QA & support team to provide best in class customer experience

- Analyze system core to understand possible root cause of the incident

- Willingness to go extra mile to not just identify and resolve a given defect but also analyze the related program logic to make it 'a right fix' and not introduce another defect

- Lead & Own the development & integration of product/service lines.

- Guides team; reviews code quality, technical documentation and ensures adherence to defined standards

- Drives timely resolution of technical issues and reports on progress of project to internal/external stakeholders.

- Successful track record of transitioning multiple products from offshore to India centres

- Manage and lead team of engineers (~ 30 people direct + indirect reports)

Technical skills requirements :

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in:

- Strong hands-on expertise of development on cloud platforms eg. AWS, Azure, GCP

- Strong programming skills with C / Java, Python is a plus

- Past experience in SaaS Application architecture and design

- Experience deploying production SaaS systems in cloud native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)

- Understanding of operations aspects of production systems pertaining to product development

- Designing services for responsiveness, scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency

- Understanding of monitoring, metrics, billing, license and subscription management

- Expert troubleshooting skills

- Experience developing software in linux environment

- Network and security knowledge and experience

- Understanding of SSO, authentication and authorization

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elastic Search, or similar technologies

- Strong verbal and written communication
