Client - Bank Muscat

- BSc/Master Degree/CA/MBA/MSC with minimum of 10 years experience in a related field.

- Experience in handling implementation of projects related to transaction banking and preference is given to those with experience in dealing with Infosys, Intellect and T24 applications.

- A highly-motivated self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, organisation and leadership skill.

- At least 5 years of working experience in Transaction banking platform solutions from either bank-proprietary or multi-bank platforms, especially in top banks of repute in Asia or GCC.

- In depth knowledge in designing, developing and implementing all cash management products (Payments, collection and liquidity). Trade and Supply chains capabilities is highly preferred.

1. Internet Platform: Manage online solutions to help corporate clients accessing trade, lending and online treasury as well as cash management services with following features:

- Fully integrated electronic corporate platform.

- The port of call for transacting and information.

- Enhanced control and security.

- Expanded range of products and services.

- Choice of connection routes.

- Identifying new enhancements

2. Cash Management : Find new electronic and innovative methods in managing local and cross border payments, collections, information management, account services, liquidity management and investment services for corporate clients, highlighting on the following cash management products:

- Payment Services: Create processes to help in saving time and money by reducing processing costs while providing a value added service to clients.

- Cash Collections Services: Establish and develop the product of providing the innovative collection services for corporate covering all legal, security..etc. aspects.

- Liquidity Services: Establish, Design and develop the product of providing innovative liquidity services for corporate covering all legal, security..etc. aspects.

3. Payments System: Enhance and Customize solutions that enables corporates to manage their working capitals in more efficient manners through e-channels that caters to different levels of customer payment sophistication, including simple online transaction via internet, bulk file payment via internet.

4. Develop standard product policies. Ensure that all transaction banking platform solutions are aligned with regulatory requirements. Maintain product approval, programs, circulars and memorandums. Audit matters are resolved timely and policies are in place.

5. Product Development: Define & implement new products and solutions to enhance customer stickiness. Understand the clients need and work on developing the existing products the bank offer including the internet banking and cash management in order to offer the client a better banking experience that meets the need on an increasingly demanding market.

6. Liaise with internal and external suppliers and partners on product/business requirements. Engage business partners, i.e. Ops, IT,Audit Legal, Credit, Compliance etc., to align, implement, address and achieve product requirements and objectives. Maintain strong knowledge on processing methodologies, GL entries, facilities structuring and trade systems.

7. Successful on-boarding of pilot clients, close user group or the solutions under the transaction banking group.

8. Adequate testing of the Transaction banking platform and independent management of the system by Transaction banking team to ensure smooth migration of the clients to new system.

9. Finalize and manage all projects related to Transaction banking which includes finalizing the scope of the project, obtaining necessary approvals, development of the project within the given time frame and cost and final rollout of the system.

10. Prioritize, drive & execute product initiatives and one-off programs, with joint ownership by IT, Customer support and other stake holders.

11. Review solution designs and effort estimates from the team and prioritize projects and change requests assigned to the team.

12. Manage the team to develop skills and maximize team performance by ensuring frequent training is given to the team on any new and existing products developed.

13. Assist and monitor the team to ensure that Transaction banking department targets are met.

14. Developing and delivering a sales strategy that would allow the bank to secure strategic business and satisfy customer needs promoting asset and P&L growth.

15. Identify new product opportunities to influence the development of key service initiatives and more cost effective delivery channels.
