Implementation Manager - Automotive

Role Overview :

- Whole plant modernization projects

- Introduction of new technologies and new manufacturing processes

- New Building projects

- Business transfer projects

- Support Operations Business pursuit activities and Program Delivery as required for AP region

Essential Functions (80%)

1. To remotely lead global teams to deliver large scale manufacturing projects aligned to Visteon's business growth strategy and Operations global standards.

2. Support development of fully costed project proposals for presentation to Leadership for approval

3. Create and track budgets and timing

4. Identify and drive resolution of issues and risks

5. Report progress/roadblocks to a Leadership team

6. Deep dive manufacturing capacity studies and manufacturing quality improvement actions

7. Onsite training of key manufacturing disciplines

8. Support manufacturing plants and regional manufacturing quote lead in responding to customer RFQ responses

9. Support for Manufacturing Quote activities and Operations Program Delivery (as required) (20%)

Others: 

a. Technical contact for product industrialization for Customer Business Units and PD teams

b. Regional Technical point of contact for Manufacturing Technology Team (test, new technologies, )

c. Coordinates and develops optimum industrialization proposals in collaboration with the plants

d. Supports plants with customer-specific knowledge to ensure full understanding of customer specification and quote compliance

e. Ensures the Best Practices execution for business pursuit in the plants

f. Leads, supports and guides plants in the industrialization for approval of Gate 2 and beyond as required
