Chartered Accountant - Accounts & Finance ( WFO )

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.

- Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their continued growth and development.

- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

- Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve company objectives.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CA final degree Mandatory

- Minimum of [5]years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibility.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring staff.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
