Impact Investment Lead - Private Equity

Role Summary:

- Looking for seeking an experienced investment professional who is driven by the opportunity to contribute to the impact of the organization. The IL would take initiatives on shaping and implementing forward looking strategies that shape solutions for the future of their investments.

- This role would primarily require partnerships with India's government bodies, non-profit organizations, community groups, institutions, and the private sector.

Strategic Leadership:

- Defining and owning the strategy of an investment vertical

- Sourcing, leading and executing investments

- Driving thought leadership and evangelizing the body of work.

- Provide diligence and lead proposals to the Investment Committee in its evaluation and discussions around new investments

Goals and responsibilities:

- Develop investment strategy.

- Source and execute investment opportunities.

- Lead the team on due diligence, financial analysis, deal structuring, negotiation of transactional documents and lending agreements and financing terms.

- Present investment proposals to the Investment Committee.

- Monitor and transparently assess the impact of those investments to arrive at recommendations and facilitate investment decisions along with closing transactions.

- Actively engage with the project, and portfolio companies' post-investments and assist them in formulating growth strategies. along with ensuring best financial and non-financial practices are implemented.

- Develop and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders

- Ensure that impact focussed investments are commercially viable in the long term to generate profitable returns.

- Business development with the objective to build a strong pipeline of potential investment opportunities
