Impact Guru seeks a Payroll specialist to join our team in our Mumbai, India location. Primary responsibility will be to manage the compensation & benefits process, payroll & benefits administration, for Visible Alpha in India. This is a critical role where we are looking for someone who is a subject matter expert in the area of compensation & benefits, rewards, payroll & benefits administration and it reports to the Manager-HR. Job Responsibilities: - Manage Inhouse payroll by putting together all the input information related to all active employees, including joiners, exits, advances, gratuity - Knowledge of basic accounting for preparation of Salary JV s. - Preparation and verification of monthly payroll journal entries. - Prepare assigned payroll schedules/reconciliations for periodical reviews and audit - Perform comparison report after transmission of payroll, comparing current vs. prior payroll to audit discrepancies prior to the pay date - Maintains confidentiality of payroll information - Co-ordinate with labor law consultants, and various labor law-related government departments to carry out various compliance and resolve employee matters. - Good understanding of statutory compliances (PF, ESI, TDS and PT) - Experience in Gratuity and Labor Benefit calculations - Maintains confidentiality of payroll information - Work in accordance with standard procedures and internal controls
