The impact that you will be making : As a Computer Vision Lead, you will be a core member of our high-impact A&nbsp;team that is solving cutting-edge problems using state-of-the-art computer-vision techniques. Apart from working on computer vision, the- person in this role will also be working in areas of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and time-series forecasting using neural models. As a member of our team, you would work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating with product teams and others across the company. You will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining various end-to-end ML pipelines with a focus on building products leveraging computer vision technologies. What this role entail : - Help build multiple cutting edge computer vision-based products for retail and CPG industry. - Work actively on computer vision, OCR, Object detection etc. - Opportunity to work on retail, CPG, and fashion industries extensively. - Building industry grade software products leveraging computer vision technology - Building ML based models to support the processing needed. - Writing unit test cases and bringing in coding/implementation best practices What lands you in this role: - Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science or in similar quantitative area (B. Tech/B.E. or M. Tech/M.E. in Computers, IT) - 6+ years of relevant work experience as a computer vision engineer or in a similar role. - Strong background in Machine Learning, Linear Algebra, and Statistics. - Experience in building products and end-to-end pipeline is critical. - Experience in python with exposure to frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Tesseract OCR etc. - Experience of applying ML principles to real-world data and building end-to-end data and ML pipelines. - Hands-on experience with Time Series Data analysis, Recurrent Neural networks, LSTMs, CNNs, Auto Encoders, NLP would be huge plus. - Experience working in retail and fashion domain would be a plus. - Experience working on applied CV projects. Examples include (but are not limited to) optical character recognition (OCR), object detection and recognition, video analytics, image classification, feature/color spaces, algorithms, filters, 3D Geometric Algebra/Matrices, non-linear optimization, and visual question answering (VQA) etc. - Experience with traditional/legacy computer vision techniques (e.g., OpenCV) and be able to make solid recommendations on techniques based on pros/cons analysis. - Well versed in software design paradigms and good development practices - An added advantage if you have won Kaggle competitions / have open-source contributions. - Strong problem solving and logical skills. - A go-getter kind of attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
