Some of the challenges you will be working on - 1. Transforming the interface between Government services and citizens (police, postal services, etc.) as part of PMO's 'Mission Karmayogi' initiative 2. Enabling SMEs across India to grow their businesses & find solutions to challenges in a changing market environment 3. Enabling large businesses to meet customer outcomes by improving the quality of customer engagement at scale The Role As part of Illumine's Large-Scale Transformation Interventions, the Knowledge Modeling practice team works on i) diagnosing challenges deeply, ii) designing & building knowledge solutions, prototyping it and iii) deploying them on the ground to create direct impact at scale. The role involves 5 key spaces - 1. Research to understand the context (field visits & digital) - Conduct ethnography studies (FGDs / interviews) with stakeholders in the client system to identify the critical challenges faced on the ground - both online and through field visits to different locations in the country. - Conduct outcome-oriented secondary research (studying industry reports, etc.) - Design and deploy survey and dipstick tools to capture meaningful data from the ground 2. Analysis & Modeling of data (qualitative & quantitative) - Analyze quantitative data from surveys / research tools to derive meaningful insights that can be leveraged to enable users and stakeholders precisely. - Build a comprehensive understanding of the context - business model, operating model, institutional structure, types of customers, etc. - Perceive the deeper challenges faced by individuals & the collective towards achieving the desired intervention / business outcome. - Unearth the tacit knowledge of the community to design multiple solution models for people to solve challenges 3. Formalizing knowledge into finished products for users - Codify research findings to build formal reports and knowledge base that can be leveraged for action - Build knowledge products / solutions (integrating multiple forms of media) to help users implement concrete and actionable solutions to their challenges. 4. Deploying the solution on the ground - Work with the technology team to embed knowledge products in tools & apps - Pilot & prototype the solution on the ground with users until it works - Ensure successful & consistent usage of the solution along with the deployment team 5. Impact Assessment - Work with the impact team to measure the impact of the knowledge solution on intervention / business outcomes What we look for in potential knowledge modeling & consulting team members - Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of people and the nation-at large - Curiosity to figure things out, find patterns and make sense of complexity - Rigor and attention to detail in your approach to research and product building - Ability to understand both systemic / structural challenges as well as deeper human challenges - Ability to design solutions iteratively and continuously evolve it to meet the desired outcome. - Ability to communicate effectively and build knowledge products Who can apply ?
