Organization Profile:- iLabs Capital (- iLabs- ) is a Hyderabad based multi-family office deploying proprietary capital using fund-of-funds approach as well as co-investing strategies. We invest through the life-cycle of companies right from seed stage to special situations. By virtue of our corpus being proprietary, we are not constrained by sector, size, tenor or form of the investments. iLabs has now earmarked approximately USD 300 Mn corpus to deploy in special situations space and is looking to strengthen the team for this vertical. We are looking for sharp, committed individuals who want to be the best at what they do. Role / Title:- Senior Associate / Vice President, Special Situations. The role shall be based out of Hyderabad. Eligibility Criteria:- 5+ years of overall work experience in one of the following: - Buy side roles with in depth understanding of the entire capital structure - Top-tier investment banks / transaction advisory firms with exposure to deals involving both Equity & Debt - Leading ARCs or stressed asset management teams of leading banks - M&A teams of top-tier corporates with demonstrated capabilities - MBA from a reputed institute / CA / CFA degree Key Roles / Responsibilities:- End-to-end responsibility across the investment life cycle with maximum emphasis on deal evaluation and execution: - Evaluation: Evaluate investment opportunities - industry, company, promoter, financial, legal, technical etc. Should have the ability to evaluate deals in multiple sectors / asset classes. - Structuring: Create deal structures that can best address the requirements of various stakeholders - banks, ARCs, promoters/existing investors and iLabs - Execution: Play key role in discussions with various stakeholders and documentation to ensure attractive deal terms for iLabs - Portfolio Monitoring: Work with portfolio companies on key drivers of turnaround - Exits: Play key role in enabling exits for iLabs- investment in portfolio companies The candidate is also progressively expected to take part in sourcing of deals by networking with Banks, ARCs, Insolvency Professionals as well as CFOs / Corporates.
