Organisation: A public market fund based out of Hyderabad Designation: Investment analyst / associate (Buy-side) Location: Hyderabad Role: Support the fund / team in generating investment ideas in public markets Responsibilities: - Perform extensive primary and secondary research to build a detailed understanding of the target industry / company - Identify key trends that drive investment ideas and express independent opinion on sectorial developments - Analyse and synthesize research findings to recommend investment opportunities - Initiate coverage, result updates, company/sector developments, management meeting notes, etc - Analyse risks and perform due diligence on prospective opportunities - Build comprehensive financial models based on understanding of company KPIs and industry drivers - Being updated with global economic trends and consistently monitoring market developments Experience: - 4 - 10 years post qualification experience in Equity research / Investment Banking / transaction advisory firms - Strong Intellectual eye for investment opportunities - Ability to filter out noise / aberrations and identify structurally sound high quality picks with a micro-level approach - Ability to work across sectors yet having in-depth exposure to selective sectors - Excellent skills in valuation, financial modeling with strong knowledge of accounting - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel Educational qualification: - Strong academic background with MBA / PGDM from a reputed Business school Behavioral skills: - Intellectual curiosity and self-motivated with entrepreneurial drive; ability to work independently - High level of attention to detail; ability to work accurately with large amount of data - Strong professional integrity and ethics; should be a team player Interested candidates apply with the following details: CV, current CTC, expected CTC and notice peiord
