IKS Healthcare - Director - Medical Coding Operations

- Certified medical coder with 12+ years of work experience, including experience in coding, coding audits, workflow assessments etc.

- Create and manage operational frameworks to deliver high quality of work in field of medical coding.

- Strong expertise on ICD-9, ICD -10, E&M, Surgery and HCC coding.

- Work with delivery leaders to launch and lead six sigma quality projects across IKS Coding.

- Set up and manage transactional quality frameworks in a clinical context including quality assessment checklists (for quality assurance leaders), identify CTQ quality metrics, create periodic quality reports.

- Work with delivery and training functions to create feedback loops from quality assessment to training and operations management.

- Familiarity with clinical documentation coding Be able to manage large teams with the ability to provide supervision on quality reviews to the delivery team.

- Team player who can work with multi-geography cross-functional teams.

- Experience with healthcare IT (implementation, customization or support for EHR, population management tools, HIE, registry, etc.) is desirable but not essential.

- Good communication skills.
