Job Role: Ensure Compliance's for Alternative Investment Funds; i) As a compliance officer, responsible for ensuing AIF Compliance(s) ii) Liasoning and co-ordinating with Regulator for AIF compliance and queries iii) Co-ordinating with counsels for legal support, opinions and clarifications iv) Liasoning with product and sales team on products and filings v) Preparation / Up-dation of Private Placement Memorandum and amendments including Trust Deed vi) Review of Application Form, literature's, fact sheets, communiques and communications vii) Regulatory reporting - Filings monthly / Quarterly report reports, annual CTR viii) Monitoring of AML / FATCA compliance and its reporting ix) Conducting and arranging Committee meetings - valuation committee, investment committee x) Liasoning with Internal auditors and statutory auditors and effectively handling SEBI inspections; xi) FEMA relating compliance / rbi filings, with respect to down stream investments & foreign investments in AIF Schemes; xii) Investment Limit monitoring pursuant to investment limits prescribed under SEBI AIF Regulations, SEBI Takeover Regulations and terms of the offer; Job specifications and competencies: The candidate should be able to independently handle the compliance function, guide his/her team (2/3 officials) on matters concerning AIF compliance's, advise business and investment team on AIF norms and set/monitory necessary processes The candidate would be reporting to Head - Compliance, IIFL Wealth & Asset Management Group. Qualification: CA or CS with at least 7 to 8 years of experience in Asset Management Compliance.
