This is regarding for a job opening for Project Managers with one of the major Airline Domain Company for Dubai Location.

Job Description :

Project Manager (PM): (5 resources)

- Minimum 12 years of project delivery experience, ideally within an airline/aviation based IT environment

- Experience in IT Project management (minimum 5 years), specifically in standard Project management and Development life Cycles, Change implementation planning and management, Systems Development Management, PM tools, Application support & Business analysis, People management

- Manage project stakeholders, suppliers and other divisions of IT to deliver the assigned project and achieve a smooth implementation and quick realization of benefits. Projects may include solutions built in-house, acquired Systems and/or external projects

- Ensure on-time, in-scope and cost effective delivery of all assigned projects. For each project ensure:

- Projects are planned professionally and that they are then reflected in the planning tool. The plan must be realistic, maintained and properly resourced;

- Delivery is within approved timelines and budget, and ensure that change requests are appropriate in terms of impact, cost and time;

- Projects are carried out through the defined phases fully complying with the processes, procedures, and guidelines in the Customer QMS. Adopt best practices defined by the Project Management Group ;

- Solutions meet agreed requirements and customer expectations, are maintainable and meet documented and agreed criteria. This requires that all solutions are adequately tested (functional, non-functional, performance and integration tested) before User Acceptance Testing;

- Risks and issues are assessed, documented and mitigation/management strategies are planned and implemented;

- Timely, appropriate and accurate project information and reporting are provided to project stakeholders;

- Manage the contract process for package acquisition projects, including RFI, RFT, contract negotiation, service level agreements ensuring the best terms, conditions, service level, price and quality are achieved through a 3rd party company in conjunction with P&L and Legal

- Ensure that business requirements are fully analyzed, challenged, understood and documented so that user requirements and defined solutions meet those business needs, identifying alternatives and added value wherever possible

- Ensure regular review of project delivery performance and contribute to improvement of systems, procedures and standards to improve IT’s capabilities, assisting the senior management team in continual process, quality and productivity improvement

- Line manage project controllers and software engineers and be responsible for the delivery performance of their projects.

- Provide specialist domain, product, technology, and project management consultancy to support customers and Sales & Market Development as required. Manage delivery and implementation of external projects as per signed off contracts/Project Management Plans

- Strong stakeholder management, contract and vendor management skills

- Excellent communication and influencing/negotiating skills required

- Knowledge of Cargo domain preferred
