IFMR Capital's portfolio currently spans microfinance, small business loan finance, affordable housing finance and commercial vehicle finance. IFMR Capital connects these institutions with capital markets and investors such as banks, NBFCs, FIIs and mutual funds via products such as securitisation, non-convertible debentures, commercial paper, syndication, on balance sheet lending and other structured debt products.

IFMR Investments is a wholly owned subsidiary of IFMR Capital and is an Alternative Fund Manager. IFMR Investments currently manages the IFMR FImpact Investment Fund (long term fixed income microfinance focused fund) and is presently launching multiple funds focused on other asset classes.

Position: Senior Associate (IFMR Investments)

No: of candidates required : 1

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct due diligence visits on potential clients and refine existing processes as may be required, with specific focus on accounting, credit, operations, financial and MIS functions.

- Review, analyse and monitor the financial and operating performance of retail finance clients;

- Actively support knowledge sharing and building of retail finance expertise in IFMR Investments.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of retail finance market in India, provide market intelligence and develop strong business network

- Build a strong pipeline of good quality retail finance investment opportunities in identified asset classes

- Applying sector knowledge in support of the appraisal, structuring, negotiation and processing of retail finance investment transactions

- Keeping track of regulations and other factors that would affect current and prospective investments in the retail finance sector. Possess the experience and ability to provide an impact analysis of the same to the investor community

- Actively contribute to fund strategy formulation and pipeline planning

Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

Minimum Qualification : Chartered Accountant

Minimum Experience : 3-4 years relevant experience

Skills :

Candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of MS-Office tools to efficiently carry out job responsibilities.
