Position Title: Sr. Associate/ Associate - Finance & Accounts

Company/Location : IFMR Capital Finance P Ltd, Chennai

Reports to : Associate Director - Head (F&A)

Department : Finance & Accounts

Role Purpose : To assist in day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, monthly financial accounts closure, statutory compliance and other assigned activities

Key Account abilities :

- Monthly & Annual MIS Preparation and analysis

- Monthly & Quarterly Forecasting

- Cash Flow Planning (Monthly & Projection Monthly & yearly)

- Finalization of Balance Sheet & profit Loss Accounts with all schedules

- Working with the Accounts team for smooth & timely execution of various accounting processes.

- Checking and laying down suitable internal controls in the system.

- Handle Service Tax related activities including input credit reconciliation, payment processing, return filing

- Handle service tax related audits and subsequent information requirements

- Compliance of Direct, Indirect tax, payments, return filing and other compliances

- Assistance in preparation of provisional tax computation

- Preparation of Tax Audit Report for Group companies and coordination with auditors

- Applying for the registration with various statutory authorities and applying of new PAN or TAN or modification in TAN/PAN

- Compiling the data for Income Tax Assessments and preparation of replies in response to notices received from Income Tax office

- Assistance in preparation of information or data in relation to appeals

- Tracking and reconciliation of TDS credits with 26 AS

- Develop long term relationships with concerned government authorities.
