IFMR - IT Analyst

The position is a technology profile working on the design and development of systems catering to analysis and reporting requirements of the business. The position is based in Chennai, India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understanding various business requirements and developing automated solutions

- Designing and developing end-to-end applications

- Working with the technology team to establish an integrated enterprise level application

- Studying the existing systems and working on upgrading and stabilizing them

Experience/Skills Required

Minimum Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or a graduate from a reputed university with 2-3 years of work experience in a technology role.

Skills:

- Must have worked on development projects and a good understanding of SDLC

- Hands on experience in analysing requirements and developing applications independently

- Deep understanding of relational database management systems. Hands on experience of working with any of DBMS like Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, MySQL

- Ability to design new database systems. Knowledge of data flow diagrams, entity-relation modelling and design techniques is mandatory.

- Mandatory skills: Any front-end programming language, SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft Excel Suite

- Must have demonstrated knowledge on reporting and data analysis on Microsoft Excel

- Experience in finance domain would be preferred

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills – both written and verbal and strong time management skills
