This provides a competitive edge to the financial institution making it truly customer centric.

As IFMR Rural Finance continues to add to its capabilities and move towards its mission, there is a need to hire a Business Intelligence analyst to strengthen our analytics- capabilities.

Analyst - Business Intelligence :

- The position will be part of the BI team and reports directly to the head of BI. Incumbent will be responsible for performing customer analytics and publishing insights to make meaningful business decisions.

- The role also involves understanding data bases, data warehousing, setting up data structures, creating regular and customized reports. Proactive analysis and enabling swift decision making is an integral part of the job.

Responsibilities :

- Perform data analysis, understand trends and provide insights on customer behaviour and business performance to the senior team.

- Develop business forecasts, statistical models, performance scores, business rules and help improve business numbers.

- Monitor and constantly improve the design and content of the Business Intelligence portal.

- Create MIS and dashboards that are simple and intuitive to use.

- Understand the information needs of the users, structure reports and provide detailed analysis.

- Streamlining the process of data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy.

- Provide periodic and ad-hoc reports to facilitate faster decision making.

Desired Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree with a strong interest in the field of analytics.

- Master's degree is preferred.

- Minimum 3 years experience in the field of analytics. Experience in the field of banking / finance is preferred.

Others :

- Excellent analytics, logical, problem solving and numeracy skills.

- Strong knowledge and understating of MS Excel, Macros and VBA. Knowledge of SQL and other coding languages preferred.

- Experience in working with multiple data bases / data warehousing.

- Energetic, self-motivated, flexible, independent personality who is interested in rural development and passionate about making a difference

- Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in Hindi / Tamil. Multiple languages a plus.
