Roles & Responsibilities
- Vertical Sales Head will be creating strategic sales plans in consultation with Citizen Identity Business Head
- Develop sales growth strategy target market identification, mapping Idemia offerings to market needs, creating targeted annual / quarterly / monthly sales plans
- Market making, demand generation and demand fulfillment
- Performance driven role with defined KRAs, including but not limited to top-line / bottom-line targets; Prospecting to Sales covering Order-to-Cash
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Work closely with Key Accounts to maximize presence within existing / identified key accounts
- In charge of developing weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the departments performance against targets
- Role will include addressing / supervising demand creation and demand fulfilment opportunities, and consequently will also involve RFP/Tendering & Bid management
- Client relationship Management at CxO & other appropriate level, Business Developments and technical presentations along with pre sales team which can offer an end-to-end platform for customer needs.
- Identify new growth areas and formulate plans for sales growth in such areas
- Actively contribute through market intelligence and feedback to contribute to evolution of companys offerings portfolio
- Vertical Sales Head will be a vital catalyst in business expansion in the region
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Should have an extensive relationship network within the Government sector in India
- Visionary to understand market research. Good knowledge on dynamics of government sector future requirement for Biometric solutions and position our product to create new markets
- Extensive exposure in Conceptualizing solutions and create market based on the customer future requirement
- Thought leadership skills, self-driven, leading from front
- Large deal management exposure which includes end-to-end deals comprising hardware & software solutions, implementation and management of implemented solution
- Should have a good understanding of regulations, business processes and needs of the government sector; should have handled large volume solution selling.
- Overall 10+ years of experience in active Sales with at-least 5-8 years in target driven Sales Manager role
- Exposure of working within businesses with relatively new offerings requiring significant customer education to develop market needs
- Consultative Selling expertise with hands-on experience in market making / demand creation selling end-to-end enterprise solutions through a consultative selling approach
- Ability to sell technology solutions is must; prior experience in biometric technology is plus
- Engineering graduate from a reputed institution must; Masters in business from a reputed institution is preferred
- Should be Presentable having good personality
- Have Good Communication skills
- Have strong Aptitude for solution sales
- Must have some background/understanding of services sales.
- Must have existing relationships in Government Departments (Central/State Govt.)
- Must have partner management skills and relationships or atleast should have been exposed to partner led sales
- Stability of person will be important for me, hence a candidate with too many frequent changes will not be really appealing to me
- Another thing important for me is Good Education background
- Must be willing to travel across India
