Role : Ideation - Portfolio Management/Development - Pharma
Reporting To : Director- Strategy
Location : Ameerpet office, Hyderabad
Objective : The purpose of this role is to identify new products that are first to launch and innovative in nature.
Key Responsibilities :
- Therapy area & disease area evaluation with regards to epidemiology, treatment algorithm, new trends, pipe-line activity and current therapy gaps to identify first to launch opportunities
- Preparing 3 years pipe-line therapy area wise
- Identifying incremental innovation ideas on current mega and future winner brands
- Validating medical and marketing attractiveness of the identified opportunities by coordinating with medical and marketing teams
- Coordinating with IPM, R&D, finance, regulatory and clinical teams to get their inputs on identified opportunities
- Evaluating in-house pipe-line of API and finished products for leveraging to India market
- Evaluating external partner's pipe-line and facilitating early tie-up to get first to launch opportunities
- Scanning of data sources, primary and secondary to identify opportunities
- Driving ideation sessions with medical and marketing teams
- Driving selection process with CFT through Pre-Apex and Apex
Operating Network :
Internal : It will have constant interface with medical, marketing, IPM, regulatory, clinical, R&D, GGPM, BD, GGBD, API, API+ teams
External : The position needs to work with external partners like: API, excipients and finished product manufacturers
Education and Experience :
Required Education : Graduate, MBBS or Science (Pharmacy preferred); MBA desirable
Minimum Experience :
- Experience with an in depth understanding of portfolio and strategy in an Indian settings
Technical Requirements :
Domain knowledge : Therapy area knowledge, market knowledge, NPPA, regulatory and clinical understanding ( India specific)
Skills : Communication & Presentation Skills
